An installation created as a graduation work at Musashino Art University. This piece later became an important source of inspiration for the artist’s future practice. The artist utilized materials found within the classroom itself, including fragments of the walls and architectural elements, suspending them from the ceiling with transparent threads. Upon entering the classroom, the space may initially appear empty. However, in reality, small objects are slightly swaying in the air. Reflecting on the many individuals who have passed through this space over the years, the work evokes the lingering presence of an empty classroom. It transforms absence into a perceptible tension, where memory, space, and time are quietly present.
